The International Association of World Heritage Professionals (IAWHP) e.V. was founded in 2010 by a group of World Heritage Studies alumni in order to provide members with an alternative platform to share ideas and experiences gathered by researchers and young professionals in the heritage field, and to strengthen the global alumni network. Among the main objectives of the IAWHP e.V. are advancing research in the field of heritage and promoting the exchange of ideas between heritage professionals.
