Under the global change, these indigenous cultures, their associated biodiversity and precious knowledge are threatened. Documenting and valuing their knowledge of biodiversity management and increasing their incomes could help mitigate this enormous cultural and biodiversity loss. Therefore, this study documents indigenous Camëntsá and Inga knowledge focusing on the relevance of the indigenous agroforestry systems to provide their ecosystem services and estimate their monetary value to illustrate its economic importance.
